Pond Committee Report
BEWARE OF THE ALLIGATORS AND THE SNAKES!!! There is no fishing permitted in the ponds.  Visitors and guests should be made aware of this. Certainly everyone should be respectful of their neighbor's property by not trespassing as well.
 
If you cut you own lawn, please do not sweep or blow grass clippings into the storm sewers in the street as these lead directly into our retention ponds.  A lot of your annual dues is spent maintaining our ponds and keeping them free of debris.  Anything going into the street drains winds up in the ponds. And if it is anything but water it usually increases algae and other problems in our ponds.
 
Common Areas Report
After much review, the Board has decided to replace both sign walls at the entrance at Churchill and Davenport.  Removal of the current walls and construction of new sign walls is projected to begin in January 2010.  The continued leaning and cracking of the NE sign wall are the major reasons for replacing the walls.  The SE sign wall also is leaning more but not as badly as the NE.   Repair of the exisitng walls in a cost effective manner is not possible.
 
Recreation Area Report
Lights on all courts go off at 9:00 p.m.
 
The damaged (by vandalism) guttering on the west side of the Rec Center Buildingg has been replaced as well as some repairs to the fencing that secures the utilities/electric controls attached to the building.  Replacement of the electrical breaker box and the majority of the breakers inside the box can now be scheduled.
 
The timer inside the tennis area for the lighting of all courts has been  repaired (and upgraded to a more sturdy version) and the missing cover replaced.
